The Office (US) S2 E18 - 'Take Your Daughter To Work Day' Mini-Review
Littlekidlover.
I knew this was going to be a great episode of The Office (US) when I read the title. Mixing the inappropriate humour that the show is famous for with innocent children is a hilarious combination and the emotional weight of the story isn't lost on the viewer either. Seeing Michael bond with the children is very cute, as are the moments where Jim shows Pam how good of a father he would be. Add the fact that there are a BUNCH of great one-liners, and I have to admit that this is one of the best episodes of the show I have watched.

- Delaney Ruth Farrell, the actress who plays Toby's daughter in this episode, did not continue acting for long, but made a cameo in one of the final episodes, The Office: Free Family Portrait Studio
- Dwight says he doesn't have computer games on his work computer, because that would be inappropriate. Yet in 'St. Patrick's Day', 'Spooked' and 'Local Ad', Dwight is shown playing various games on his work computer
- Michael asks the kids if they like Dane Cook, and all enthusiastically reply that they do. Carrell appeared alongside Cook in the film Dan in Real Life , which came out the year after this episode aired
- "Fundle Bundle" appears to be an homage to a local Scranton children's program called "The Land of Hatchy Milatchy," which aired in the 1960s and 1970s. The host of "Fundle Bundle" was called Miss Trudy (a reference to "Hatchy Milatchy's" Miss Judy)
