Pleasant Dreams. Issue 10 out of 12 in the Arrow  comic series continues to tie up loose ends from the TV show and present new and exciting stories for our hero; 'Aftermath' explores Diggle's attempts to avenge his brother's death during Oliver's five years in hell; 'Shado of the Past' helps explain how Shado came to Lian Yu and also shows the flashback story from the point of view of Yao Fei; and 'Patient Zero' is a disease-driven present day adventure, in which the Hood travels to Coast City to prevent biological disaster. 'Aftermath' is the worst of the three stories, but it is still very good - an emotional ride in which we are shown how Carly and Diggle reacted to the death of Andy. Seeing Diggle's fury as her pursues the wrong man is effective in portraying his pain during this time and how he found outlets for his rage. Nothing is Bred that is Weaker than Man. 'The Odyssey' serves in large part as an extended flashback episode and the series benefits from it. As Oliver lies dying after being shot by his mother, we learn about how he and Slade became friends five years before. The training montage is fun and makes the viewer feel like they are finally seeing some progression in the Hood's origin story. The action in this episode is also worth mentioning, as the clearing of the runway shows Slade's brutality and fighting style, whilst the climactic showdown between Wilson and his old partner Billy Wintergreen is a brilliantly choreographed battle and a satisfying ending to the episode, as Slade finally gets his revenge for being betrayed. Oliver also faces a change of heart in this episode - he resolves to help people, as he feels he owes it to Yao Fei and thus should stop being so selfish. You Will Die Badly. This episode of Arrow  focuses more on Oliver getting arrested and then off the hook when accused of being the Hood. This addresses issues of Oliver being accused of being the Hood. Laurel and Oliver have cringey scenes in this episode and it felt ridiculous that they would kiss. Quentin's drunken habits are shown to us for the first time. The outro is really cool, first of all with Diggle's speech accompanied by a montage of Thea questioning the arrowhead Oliver gave her, Walter walking out on Moira after his head of security was killed by her secret organisation. We then see the Hood destroy Leo Mueller and his men in a badass fight scene, with an awesome slow motion kill.
