The Office (US) S3 E13 - 'Traveling Salesmen' Mini-Review
Strike Three.
In an eventful episode of The Office (US), Dwight resigned to keep his and Angela's relationship secret, whilst Karen found out about Jim's long crush on Pam. Andy undermining Dwight made up the core of this episode, although seeing everyone out on sales meetings was very entertaining and a nice change of pace from the office setting. Stanley and Ryan's coverage was particularly hilarious. Dwight resigning is a big move, although I expect he will return to the company very soon. The episode benefited on a shift of focus from Jim/Pam/Karen to Dwight v. Andy and the fallout effects on Dwight and Angela's relationship. It was a busy episode, but a rewarding one nonetheless.

DID YOU KNOW?!*
- To create the picture of young Jim and Dwight, a high school photograph of John Krasinski was photoshopped alongside a 1991 picture of Rainn Wilson. At the time, Wilson was touring with an acting company
- While the sales team is standing in the parking lot, the actors feign cold shivers with winter gear; in actuality, it was 85 degrees
- When Angela went to drink coffee with Pam, she uses the code names 'Noelle' and 'Kurt' to tell her what happened that morning. These are the middle names of Angela and Dwight, respectively
- Although Pam is skeptical to get coffee with Angela due to their hatred/likeness for one another, in real life Angela Kinsey and Jenna Fischer are best friends
- Michael is drinking a "Cherikee Red" (manufactured in Scranton) in breakroom with Angela
- In the opening scene where Michael is controlling Harvey the computer, he invites Jim and Pam into his office, he says "me so horny, me lobe you long tim." This is a reference to his move 'The 40 Year Old Virgin' in which he says this line
RATING: 8.7/10
